Dodgeball time

April 4th, 2006
Dodgeball finally makes it big in Vancouver.
9pm we met in front of the VAG.
We had 45 come out to play.




It started off rough.
We were set to play underground in robson square in the old skate rink.
But that's not how the stuffy old dean of SFU would have it.
The dean comes out and tells us we are not allowed to play our game.
Because we would "disrupt classes"
Some one points out "This is public property, we are allowed to play here."
Dean says " It's own by the school. You cannot play here. It's private property."
Some one says "The school is a public institution owned by the government. Therefore it's still public property."
The dean says" That doesn't matter, you can't play here.
Instead of arguing rights with the stupid dean and then the police.
we left for the other side of the park.
You win this round dean...

Not stupid movie horrible dodgeball.
two teams.
-when you get hit, your out.
-when you drop the ball,fumble it, bounce it, your out.
-when some one catches your toss, your out.

when you get out,
-you stand on the outside perimeter of the other teams court
-and you can get back in.

only if....
-someone on your team catches somebodies toss.
-you get somebody on the other team out.

We split into team one and two.
it was a very even match.
team one won.
then team two.
then team two
then team one.
then team two wins the final match.
